A little about the artist


Charlene Marsh is a full time professional artist working both in fiber and in oils. Her artwork has won top awards in local, regional, and national competitions including an Indiana Arts Commission Master Fellowship, an NEA/Arts Midwest Visual Arts Fellowship, Best of Both Shows at the Westmoreland Art Nationals, and First Place in the Fiberarts International, among many others. She is a graduate of Indiana University and teaches at the John Waldron Arts Center in Bloomington. Her work is in the collections of the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Evansville Museum of Arts and Sciences, Purdue University, and many other private and public collections.

Her artwork has evolved to evaluate the struggles between good and evil, life and death, corporal and spiritual. The artwork is created to celebrate the glory of God and to raise the spiritual energy of those who encounter it.
