Born in Iran in 1949. Started oil painting since I was eight. Having successful exhibitions in my country encouraged me to take this hobby more seriously and worked as a professional artist in recent ten years. Have
been living in US since October 98 with my wife and daughter.
I try to paint the impression of the subjects and convey my feeling of natural beauties in my oil paintings. Working on large canvases gives me more freedom to express my dreams. My paintings often look like pastel and the repetition of colors and
brush strokes are their main characteristics. When I do flora and figurative paintings, I try to show the world of my dreams. In many of my paintings you can find a window on the top corner with the sunrays coming through. They represent hope and
freedom, which are always the major parts of the world of my dreams.
