Paula is a self-taught artist, a therapist, a mother and an explorer of spiritual realms. She feels that her creativity, her feminine side as a nurturer and caretaker, and her spiritual beliefs are intermingled in
such a way that she cannot separate them. Each affects how she approaches the other and how she approaches her art and the world in general. She has lived in San Francisco, CA, New Hampshire, Eugene, OR Minneapolis, New York City, and is presently
residing in Bloomington, Indiana. In each of these places she has absorbed much of what she could, to expand the definition of who she is. This in turn has allowed her to expand her vision of her art. She primarily works in oils an acrylics, but
occasionally works in oil pastels, pen and ink, and other media. She is a founding member of Gallery North on the Square, an artist cooperative gallery, representing regional Indiana artists. Her work can be seen there as well as on her website
