Jacki Frey

A little about the artist


Jacki Frey has been a resident of Bloomington for the past several years and began to paint watercolors more seriously at that time. Jacki has studied this interesting medium from professional painters around the state of Indiana. She is a member of the Watercolor Society of Indiana, the Hoosier Salon, Brown County Art Gallery and The Indiana Plein Air Painters Association. She has helped to form the Bloomington Watercolor Society. Jacki teaches watercolor classes at John Waldron Center as well as private lessons in her home. She has shown in membership shows and juried shows around Indiana. Her work can be viewed at the Brown County Art Gallery, Nashvile, IN. She is a graduate of Indiana Univeristy and taught art for several years in public schools. Her painting style is representational as well as an impressionistic style of building glazes of color.
